Wedding 911: Wedding Etiquette

Question: This is a two part question...This is my second wedding but my fiances first. Are there any traditions I must avoid since most of the people we are inviting (on my side) have done this before? Also, is it appropriate to accept gifts from them? HELP!!!
Answer:
Question: My mother is insisting that I incorporate a program/handout with our ceremony. Do I have to do that?
Answer: Programs are a great way to give your guests insight into your ceremony -- from who is in your wedding party to what your special reading is. Many people also include special thank you messages to their family and guests. However, if your wedding is small or if your ceremony and reception are in the same location you may not feel the need to use one.
